swiss national day 2024Jakarta, 1 August 2024 – The Swiss National Day 2024 was celebrated with great enthusiasm at the Ayana Midplaza Hotel in Jakarta, drawing over 800 guests, including VIPs and Swiss nationals residing in Indonesia. The event, which marks important milestones in Swiss history and achievements, also highlighted the shared values of unity between Switzerland and Indonesia.

Swiss National Day, celebrated annually on August 1st, commemorates the 1291 federal pact when three cantons signed an agreement, marking the beginning of Swiss sovereignty.

The event commenced with a Balinese dance performance and the national anthems of Indonesia and Switzerland. Following this, Mr. Olivier Zehnder, the Swiss Ambassador to Indonesia, Timor-Leste, and ASEAN, delivered a speech highlighting the collaborative spirit between the two nations.

The highlight of the evening was the presence of the Indonesian Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy, Mr. Sandiaga Uno, as the guest of honor. In his speech, he remarked, “Since 1952, Indonesia and Switzerland have maintained a lasting and prosperous friendship. I believe this bond will continue to foster progress and prosperity for both our nations, and I hope the relationship between Indonesia and Switzerland will continue to flourish for many years to come.”

This event was supported by 18 companies, including PT Integrity Indonesia, which participated as both a guest and a sponsor. Our booth was lively with enthusiastic visitors who took part in a dart game for merchandise prizes. This valuable occasion also allowed us to introduce our Whistleblowing Systems, Phoenix and Canary

Both are reporting system services designed to meet different user needs. Phoenix is offered as a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) model, while Canary is operated by Integrity Indonesia for our clients. Many guests, who were already familiar with reporting systems—particularly for reporting allegations of bribery, embezzlement, corruption, and other ethical violations—showed interest in the solutions provided by both services.

This support underscores the strong commitment of these companies to strengthening Swiss-Indonesian relations. PT Integrity Indonesia is proud to be a part of this celebration and to contribute to an event that reinforces the values of unity and friendship between the two countries.
