integrity indonesiaJakarta, 11 December 2024, PT Integrity Indonesia is honored to once again host students from the University of Indonesia and the University of Technology Sydney as part of the Criminology Intensive Program collaboration, continuing our-long standing commitment to fostering cross-cultural exchange and shared learning experiences.

The event commenced with a warm opening speech by Mr. Alfonsus Adi, our Head of Human Resources, who welcomed the students with enthusiasm. He was followed by Ms. Azhara Khayati, our Head of Employment Background Screening, who is also an alumna of the Criminology program at the University of Indonesia.

Ms. Azhara delivered an insightful presentation on the pivotal role of criminal background checks in the recruitment process. She highlighted how these checks help organizations mitigate risks, ensure workplace safety, and make informed hiring decisions.

In her presentation, she also underscored the importance of aligning these practices with data protection regulations, particularly in light of the newly implemented Personal Data Protection Law (UU Perlindungan Data Pribadi) in Indonesia. She emphasized that compliance with these laws not only safeguards candidates’ personal information but also upholds ethical standards in recruitment processes, fostering trust between employers and candidates.

Through a series of interactive sessions, the students explored real-world applications of fraud prevention, risk management, and investigative methodologies, gaining valuable insights from our experienced professionals.

Looking ahead, PT Integrity Indonesia remains committed to supporting the development of aspiring compliance professionals and eagerly anticipates future collaborative initiatives with universities. We believe that sharing our knowledge and expertise is crucial in equipping the next generation to navigate the complexities of the legal landscape in Indonesia and beyond, enabling them to make meaningful contributions to society.
